Sakura-Con 2012 - Special Guests

The guest list this year at Sakura-Con was nothing short of spectacular. The big three, Urobuchi Gen, Iwakami Atsuhiro, and Ota Katsushi, took the spotlight, along with musical guests Moi dix Mois, Wakeshima Kanon and Stereopony, which we received exclusive photography access to and will be covered in a separate post, as well as our exclusive interview with the big three. Other guests who were also present included Zekkyou, the ToraDora! manga artist, along with Morita Masakazu and several other influential individuals from the industry.



Urobuchi Gen is the writer of Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica and Fate/Zero. Working with Iwakami Atsuhiro, the producer of Madoka Magica and Fate/Zero, and Ota Katsushi, editor of Faust and the Kodansha Box line. As per Aniplex and Urobuchi-san's personal request, we are unfortunately unable to show photos of Urobuchi-san.

Zekkyou is the manga artist of ToraDora! It was great being able to finally meet the artist of arguably one of the best manga/anime series.






Maridah was also present at Sakura-Con, which was appropriate since she is known as the "real-life Saber". She definitely suits that title flawlessly.



Last but not least, we have some great photos of Stereopony's performance, all-girl Jrock band from Okinawa. Aimi on vocals and guitar, Nohana on bass, and Shiho on drums. We have exclusive photos from the concert in our Stereopony Sakura-Con post.
